CSI Packaging develops advanced automation solutions for packaging production lines. During my assignments at Westrock and Graphic Packaging International, I worked on complex machine automation projects including stackers, robots, transfer systems and conveyor technology.

My role evolved from Software Engineer to Lead Software Engineer, combining hands-on software development with technical leadership, commissioning and customer delivery.

Software Engineer (2017 – 2018)

✓ Developing PLC and HMI software for packaging machines, robots, transfer systems and conveyor systems using Siemens TIA Portal
✓ Designing and implementing software modules to improve machine performance, speed and reliability
✓ Developing and testing automation software and machine functionalities
✓ Performing safety and functional testing in-house and on-site
✓ Supporting machine commissioning, troubleshooting and customer acceptance
✓ Training operators and technical service teams  

Lead Software Engineer (2018 – 2019)

✓ Defining technical and functional specifications for automation solutions
✓ Standardising software architecture and developing reusable state/mode software structures across machine platforms
✓ Leading software development activities and guiding engineers within the team
✓ Coordinating on-site testing, commissioning and integration activities
✓ Managing PLC software development and technical quality
