Technical leadership grounded in engineering experience
I set up complex technical projects and programmes, lead projects end-to-end, and take on programme-level leadership within capital-intensive, regulated and mission-critical environments, with particular expertise in Industrial Automation, Operational Technology (OT) and critical facility systems.
My background is in industrial automation and software engineering. Earlier in my career, I worked extensively as a software and lead software engineer, developing, integrating and commissioning industrial automation systems and machines at customer sites in the Netherlands and internationally.
This hands-on engineering foundation gives me a strong understanding of the technical reality behind complex projects and programmes.
Over the years, I have progressed into senior technical project leadership with increasing programme-level responsibilities. I establish governance and execution models, structure complex scopes, align multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers and stakeholders, and translate technical complexity into clear priorities, decisions and executable plans.
A key strength is systems thinking. I naturally look beyond individual work packages and consider the wider delivery environment: dependencies between projects and workstreams, interfaces between engineering and operations, stakeholder alignment, resource constraints, sequencing, risk and operational continuity.
I am particularly interested in complex technical projects and programmes requiring strong technical understanding, structured execution and senior leadership — including end-to-end leadership of major technical projects and broader programme-level accountability across multiple projects and workstreams.
