Project: Renovation Zeedoksluis Den Helder
Led the technical delivery of new control and operating software for the renovation of the Zeedoksluis in Den Helder, executed by Strypes Nederland for BAM Infra.
The lock complex forms part of the primary water defence infrastructure and consists of a lock system and lifting bridge, requiring reliable integration of software, automation and multidisciplinary engineering disciplines. Coop Automation
Key responsibilities & contributions
- Setting up and leading the technical project from requirements and planning through engineering, software development, integration and commissioning
- Translating customer requirements into technical solutions and project deliverables
- Leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary technical project team
- Managing interfaces between software, automation and other engineering disciplines
- Managing project planning, progress, risks, costs and delivery control
- Coordinating procurement activities, suppliers and technical dependencies
- Aligning technical execution with customer requirements and contractual agreements
- Driving issue resolution, integration and successful commissioning of the upgraded control system
